After conservative commentator Candace Owens claimed on Saturday that she received credible evidence the French government is trying to assassinate her, Project Veritas released text messages reportedly showing former Attorney General Bill Barr’s daughter plotting to blackmail Owens.
The texts, allegedly from former senior DOJ official Mary Barr Daly, discussed blackmailing Owens, someone called, “Black,” and another person whose name was withheld.
One message ordered the recipient to “work with Armstrong” on sending “some underage girl to secure” the anonymous individual because “he’s an easy target.”
“The harder one is Candace because she’s very resistant,” the text continued, also suggesting the trap for the anonymous male be “good” enough to land him in jail.
In another message, the “group” working on the operation was told they “need to blackmail” Owens “faster” in order to protect 2024 Maryland GOP congressional nominee Kim Klacik.
At the time, Owens was calling out Klacik’s suspicious FEC filings & history as a strip club employee.
Next, Barr’s daughter reportedly ordered someone named “Armstrong” to have a photographer follow Owens and her husband.
Project Veritas wrote on 𝕏, “Representation for Mary Barr stated the texts are fabricated… meanwhile, neither she, nor other subjects of our released texts such as her father Bill Barr, Armstrong Williams, Jason Miller nor Michael Ben Ary have followed through on their legal threats. Fear of discovery?”
The accusations are alarming considering Owens’ connection to recently-assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the information showing French President Macron supposedly hired a hitman to take her out.
