Image Credit: DHS An illegal alien from South America is on the loose following a fatal hit-and-run collision last week in the sanctuary state of New Jersey, authorities say.
The horrifying incident unfolded at around 7 a.m. on March 20 in Morristown.
Local police were called to the scene of an accident where they found 68-year-old Justo Pilco-Tenesaca pinned under a truck.
Pilco-Tenesaca was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck, identified as Wilson Adrian Morocho-Necta, fled on foot and remained at large as of Wednesday, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Morocho-Necta, a citizen of Ecuador, was previously removed from the U.S. after illegally crossing the southern border in 2019.
He slipped back into the country at an unknown location and date.
“We are calling on the public to report any sighting of Wilson Adrian Morocho-Necta. This illegal alien is the lead suspect in a hit and run that killed Justo Pilco-Tenesaca and remains at large,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“If anyone has information on the whereabouts of this illegal alien, they should immediately contact ICE at 866-DHS-2-ICE.”
We will monitor this story and provide updates if they become available.
