President Donald Trump on Monday told the press that he “predicted Osama bin Laden would knock out the World Trade Center” a year before the 9/11 attacks.
“I predicted all of it. I predicted Osama bin Laden would knock out the World Trade Center. I made that prediction a year before he did it… One year before exactly, I wrote it in a book, you can even check,” POTUS said.
Trump made a similar claim in January, telling journalists aboard Air Force One that he wrote about bin Laden in his book one year before 9/11 and suggested the U.S. should take him out.
Meanwhile, numerous “fact-checks” of Trump’s claim have found that he only mentioned Osama bin Laden once in the 2000 book, “The America We Deserve,” and that he never called for bin Laden to be killed, warned of an impending attack on America, or predicted the al-Qaeda leader would target the World Trade Center.
In reality, Infowars founder and host Alex Jones famously DID predict in July of 2001 that the George W. Bush administration was preparing to launch a staged terrorist event, begging his viewers to contact the White House switchboard to warn of the impending attack.
Jones specifically said there would be a false flag terror attack by the U.S. government involving the CIA boogeyman Osama bin Laden, potentially involving bombing commercial airline flights and reminding listeners the feds allowed the 1993 WTC bombing to take place.
