President Donald Trump posted a Truth Social message on Monday, ranting against Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) and 60 Minutes host Lesley Stahl following their Sunday evening interview.
He wrote, “The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!). Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple!”
POTUS went on to say Greene is “not America First or MAGA” and called her a “very dumb person.”
Next, “washed up, Trump hating 60 Minutes ‘correspondent,’ Lesley Stahl” became Trump’s target.
The president said Stahl owed him an apology for attacking him during an interview over the infamous Hunter Biden laptop as she maintained it was “Russian” disinformation, an accusation now totally disproven.
After calling Greene a “poorly prepared traitor” who “made stupid statements,” Trump lashed out at new 60 Minutes owner Paramount for “allowing” the show to air.
“I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!!” he added.
MTG responded by noting she has never taken a dime from the pro-Israel political lobbying group AIPAC while Trump has received an alleged $230,000, writing, “I am America first.”
The spat between the two politicians has been ongoing since Greene started pushing for the release of the Epstein files and criticizing the Israeli government’s influence over American politics.
