Image Credit: infowars composite Police in Dallas, Texas, arrested a pair of illegal aliens seen in viral social media videos firing weapons off a packed interstate into traffic on New Year’s Eve.
Dallas Police on Thursday announced the arrests of Anthony Acevedo, 20, Jose AlarconSanchez, 18, and 25-year-old Anderson Derce Lara, stemming from a viral New Year’s Eve video where the men were seen firing rifles off of an I-30 overpass in Downtown Dallas while traffic was at a standstill.

“Investigators recovered more than 100 shell casings near the scene,” Dallas PD reported on X. “During the investigation, detectives learned that AlarconSanchez had been arrested by the Grand Prairie Police Department for a similar offense in their city during the early morning hours of January 1, 2026.”
Today, the Dallas Police Department announced the arrests of two suspects connected to a New Year’s Eve gunfire incident on the I-30 bridge that was captured in a widely circulated video and viewed worldwide.

Derce Lara was also connected to a road rage incident in November where he’d fired multiple rounds into a vehicle carrying three adults and three children, miraculously missing them.

Police recovered the weapons and charged Acevedo and AlarconSanchez with Discharge of a Firearm in Certain Municipalities, a Class A misdemeanor, while Derce Lara is facing six counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a first-degree felony.

Immigration detainers have been placed on AlarconSanchez and Derce Lara, while Acevedo was reportedly released on bond.
Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux celebrated the arrests, stating, “If you put lives at risk in Dallas, we will identify you, investigate thoroughly, and hold you accountable.”
