More than 62,000 migrant children have been rescued from sex trafficking and child labor under the new Trump administration, according to Border Czar Tom Homan.
Homan revealed the shocking number in an interview on Fox and Friends Sunday.
“Over half a million children were smuggled into this country under Joe Biden,” Homan said.
“They lost track of 300,000. President Trump committed on day one that we will do everything we can to find every one of these children.
“We know many of them are in sex trafficking. Many are in forced labor. Many are being abused. I can’t discuss some of the mistreatment we found out about. President Trump again proved why he’s the greatest president in my lifetime. Over 62,000 children rescued.”
Homan went on to slam the Biden administration for simply forgetting about the migrant children.
At the end of September, Homan announced that two million illegals had already left the US as a result of President Trump’s flagship immigration policies.
“We’re at over 400,000 deportations between CBP and ICE, and that’s just since the president took office,” Homan said.
He added that “over 1.5 million illegal aliens, close to 1.6 [million] illegal aliens already left the country on their own. Why? Because they see what ICE is doing out there every day.”
Homan attributed the success of Trump’s immigration policies to the hard work of immigration agents across the nation, and to the securing and militarization of the southern border with Mexico, which has seen illegal crossings drop to record lows.
“One of the reasons we have the most secure border in the history of this nation is because, the great work of the men and women of the Border Patrol, the great work of President Trump and his leadership, but also because ICE is out there, over a thousand teams, all across the country arresting people,” Homan continued.
“A lot of people have left, a lot of people aren’t coming, which helps us secure that border. And that was part of the strategy from the beginning. We said that if we show consequences, if we show we’re actually out there looking for them, many will leave.”
