Tucker Carlson would beat President Trump in the 2028 election, according to former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“I SUPPORT TUCKER,” Greene posted on X.
“Trump doesn’t even know what MAGA is anymore and turned it into MIGA [“Make Israel Great Again”].
“Trump is not America First, he’s donor first.
“Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term.”
Greene’s Tweet was in response to a comment by ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl, who reported that President Trump had said Tucker Carlson was “not MAGA” and had “lost his way.”
Carlson branded President Trump’s military operation against Iran “absolutely disgusting and evil.”
“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump reportedly told Karl.
“I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”
President Trump has vowed that Iran will be hit “very hard” today, as Operation Epic Fury enters its second week.
“Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The President went on to say that Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East” after the nation’s president apologized to its neighbours in the region for hitting them with missile and drone attacks over the last week.
“Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack,” Trump said.
“They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries. They have said, ‘Thank you President Trump.’ I have said, ‘You’re welcome!’”
President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized in a pre-recorded video for Iran’s retaliation against other nations in the region including Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Pezeshkian said Iran had the right to “take all necessary measures” in its own defense, but added the strikes against other nations in the region would end so long as they don’t launch retaliation of their own.
On Friday, President Trump said he would only accept “unconditional surrender” from Iran.
In his video, Pezeshkian rubbished such a possibility, saying “That’s a dream they should take to their graves.”
