Socialist “Democrat” New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced this week he’s appointing Ramzi Kassem, who previously defended al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi, as the city’s new chief counsel.
The move is being described as a spit in the face to New Yorkers because members of the terror group were involved in the 9-11 terrorist attack.
Aal-Darbi was convicted in 2017 of bombing a French oil tanker near Yemen in 2002.
Kassem attended Columbia law school with funding from the globalist Soros family and served as a senior policy advisor on immigration issues in the Biden administration.
Laura Loomer pointed out on social media that Kassem once justified Islamic terrorists using suicide bombers by saying they do so as “one of many reactions to oppression and dispossession and not their cause.”
She wrote, “He will be sworn in on the Quran on January 1, 2026, making it the first time a Mayor in NYC is taking their oath of office on the Quran. Muslims believe the teachings in the Quran supersede the United States Constitution.”
