Image Credit: x screenshot Footage showing three armed masked thugs claiming to champion right-wing values and threatening Irish politicians has sparked outrage.
In the video reportedly filmed last Friday, a masked Irish “patriot” claiming to represent the “New Republican Movement” flanked by two men carrying guns reads a warning to Irish lawmakers saying he represents the “New Republican Movement” and opposes unchecked immigration and the sexualization of children.

A new group called the “New Republican Movement” have claimed local representatives are “legitimate targets”.
Mass immigration and the indoctrination of children is schools are mentioned as reasons for their existence. pic.twitter.com/Q4bw0puPPj
Here’s a transcript of the masked thug’s statement, delivered in front of an Irish flag as a handgun sat on the table beside him:
“To the people of Newry, Mourne and Down, we, the New Republican Movement, have watched their councillors, MLAs (Members of the Legislative Assembly), over the past 12 months,”
“The level of disrespect shown to the people who put you into power. This cannot be ignored any longer. We are proud men of Ireland. We are patriots.
“Your policies and decision-making regards to flooding our communities with undocumented, military-aged men is not acceptable.
“We will not sit back any longer and watch our culture and religion (be) destroyed by the people we put in power.
“Also, the sexual indoctrination of our children, schools, has not gone unnoticed either.
“The New Republican Movement will take immediate action against anyone who threatens our ways of life and the safety of our women and children.
“We have your addresses and know your movements. Every one of you are legitimate targets as of today.”
The thugs’ terroristic message has been condemned by Irish politicians, including UK MP Dáire Hughes, who fired back, “The sinister threats issued by faceless thugs against elected members of Newry, Mourne and Down are an attack on democracy and on the mandate each of us as elected members receives from the public.”
“Let me be crystal clear: these faceless individuals represent no one and they will not deter me or my party colleagues from carrying out our work, every day, representing our constituents.
“Despite bombs planted at our offices and chilling threats made through social media, Sinn Féin will continue to stand up for our people.
“I send solidarity to each of my elected colleagues across our constituencies. Let us stand as one against these deluded individuals.”
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has launched a criminal investigation into the people behind the video, with Superintendent Lynne Corbett stating…
“It is completely unacceptable that anyone should face such threats and intimidation for carrying out the duties of the office to which they have been democratically elected.
“We have commenced an investigation to identify those responsible.
“Police in Newry, Mourne and Down will continue engaging closely with our local elected representatives and will do all we can to ensure they feel supported and safe in our communities, and that they can undertake their role free from intimidation.”
The video comes as demonstrators took to the streets of Dublin in October to protest the rape of a 10-year-old girl by a migrant, with similar protests unfolding across the UK.
It goes without saying that right-wing values do not condone terroristic threats against politicians – a tactic more commonly associated with the violent left.
