FBI Director Kash Patel has confirmed the two National Guard soldiers are in critical condition.
Earlier, West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey said two national guard troops are dead.
However, 20 minutes later, Morrisey said he’s getting “conflicting” reports on their condition.
CBS news is reporting this was an “ambush attack” according to law enforcement.
