Ex-MSNBC anchor Joy Reid attempted to depict MAGA economic policies as a nightmare hellscape – but instead ended up outlining a tax-free utopia everyone should agree with.
Appearing on a podcast recently, Reid described a “scary” future scenario where citizens may not have to pay income taxes to the federal government.
“…If you go back before the 20th century, there were no income taxes, there were no regulations on business. You could earn as much money as you want, leave 100% of it to your children with no taxes,” Reid described, adding, “That’s the world they want back.”
“And to get it back,” she continued, “they need society to change. They need people to be less modern. They need people to want fewer things.”
Despite her tone-deaf portrayal of Trump’s financial policies as detrimental, conservatives on social media agreed it was the future they wanted.
“Joy Reid just accidentally made MAGA sound like paradise,” wrote X user Dan Brisbois. “No income tax? No strangling regulations? Keep what you earn and pass it on to your kids without Uncle Sam looting the inheritance? That’s called freedom, not a nightmare. The fact that she frames prosperity and independence as ‘dangerous’ tells you everything — the Left needs you broke, dependent, and obedient, because if you’re free and wealthy, you don’t need them.”

The disgraced leftist is correct – the MAGA financial plan would destroy the socialist agenda. People would be able to keep more of their hard-earned money, and there wouldn’t be funds to subsidize communist policies like universal basic income, redistribution of wealth schemes, social welfare and DEI programs and more.
