Linda Stevenson, the wife of Jill Biden’s ex-husband Bill Stevenson, 77, was reportedly found dead Sunday evening after police responded to a domestic disturbance call at their Delaware home.
Police found Linda, 64, unresponsive at their Oak Hill residence, and life-saving measures were unsuccessful, according to TMZ.
“No further details have been given about the alleged domestic dispute or who it involved,” the Daily Mail reports.
Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ mentioned a possible “cardiac arrest.”

Reports state the New Castle County Police Department’s criminal division has taken up the death investigation.
No charges have been filed and an autopsy will determine the cause of death.

Bill and Linda’s marriage spanned nearly 40 years.
Bill was Jill Biden’s first husband from 1970 to 1975, when their divorce was finalized. By this time she had reportedly met Joe Biden, a Delaware senator at the time, and married him in 1977, though Stevenson has claimed the pair had an affair that began in 1974, which the Bidens have disputed.
