Despite missiles falling during broad daylight and strikes reportedly killing over 80 schoolgirls, some Iranians apparently cheered the assault, evidently joyous at the possible decapitation of the oppressive religious regime and other top officials.
Footage circulating on social media purported to show Iranians taking to the street in celebration following the strikes.

In another clip, a group of young Gen Z boys appear to be happy with the strikes, with one proclaiming, “I love Trump!”

Another video allegedly from Sat, Feb. 28 purports to show Tehran residents shouting in celebration from rooftops yelling, “Death to Khamenei!”

The strikes in Tehran supposedly hit near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, however it’s as yet unclear whether the nation’s religious leader was actually killed or relocated prior to the attack.
Meanwhile, Israeli strikes in southern Iran reportedly hit a girls elementary school killing over 80 people including numerous schoolchildren.
In a late-night message following the first wave of attacks, President Donald Trump told the Iranian people their freedom was at hand and encouraged them to “take over” their government once the campaign is over, saying, “It will be yours to take.”
