An illegal alien from Africa with a shocking criminal history was arrested for stabbing a woman to death in Virginia this week.
The brutal attack unfolded at around 7 p.m. on Monday in Fairfax County, a sanctuary jurisdiction.
Police were called to a bus stop in Hybla Valley where they found a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds to her upper body.
Officers and medics attempted to revive the victim but she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
She was identified as Stephanie Minter, a 41-year-old mother from Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and identified a person of interest — Abdul Jalloh, a 32-year-old vagrant who was seen exiting a bus Minter had been riding.
On Tuesday, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) received a call from a shop employee who had spotted Jalloh.
Officers located Jalloh and tied him to a theft that had occurred at another location earlier in the day.
He was arrested and charged with Petite Larceny.
“On February 25, detectives determined Jalloh was responsible for the fatal stabbing of Minter and obtained a warrant charging him with Second-Degree Murder. Jalloh remains held on no bond,” FCPD explained in a press release.
Jalloh has been arrested more than 30 times and charged with a slew of crimes, including rape, malicious wounding (5x), assault (4x), battery (4x), drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and pick pocketing.
On Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed that Jalloh is a citizen of Sierra Leone who illegally entered the U.S. in 2012.
“ICE previously lodged a detainer against Jalloh in 2020, and he was granted a final order of removal by a judge who found he could be removed to any country other than Sierra Leone. This case illustrated the importance of third country removals to get criminal illegal aliens out of the U.S.,” DHS stated in a press release.
An immigration detainer has once again been lodged against Jalloh and DHS is urging Virginia officials to turn him over to ICE when they are finished with him.
“We are calling on Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger and Virginia’s sanctuary politicians to commit to not releasing this murderer and violent career criminal from their jail without notifying ICE,” said DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“This illegal alien’s murder of an innocent, beautiful American woman came less than 24 hours before Governor Spanberger’s demonization of ICE law enforcement.”
