Gov. Gavin Newsom seethed Thursday as Border Patrol agents staged a show of force outside his Los Angeles redistricting press conference, arresting illegal aliens and telling reporters they would keep Californians safe if he wouldn’t.
Footage shows the federal agents with a short brown man in handcuffs outside the Japanese American National Museum, where Newsom was holding an event in support of a new congressional map that would give Democrats more U.S. House seats to counter Texas’ redistricting effort.

When asked if he knew Gov. Newsom was delivering a speech nearby, Chief Bovino said he was unaware.
Meanwhile, Gov. Newsom seethed inside his presser, saying, “Donald Trump and his minions Tom Homan, tough guy, totally decided coincidentally or not that this was a location to advance ICE arrests.”
