Former Democrat President Barack Obama posted to social media Sunday, claiming the motive of White House Correspondent’s Dinner shooter Cole Tomas Allen is unknown.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy,” he wrote. “It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.”

The message overtly omitted any mention of President Trump’s well-being and failed to directly call out violent leftists.

Obama also falsely claimed that the shooter’s motive remains unknown, even though Allen sent an anti-Trump manifesto to family members shortly before the attack and had a documented history of anti-MAGA views.

Watch Alex Jones read the manifesto below:

Furthermore, Fox News’s Jacqui Heinrich reported Allen “had a ton of anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on his social media accounts.”

Allen “was part of a group called ‘The Wide Awakes’ and attended a ‘No Kings’ protest in California at some point.”

The Los Angeles Times also reported, “In October 2024, Allen donated $25 to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises funds for Democrats, according to the Federal Election Commission. The money was earmarked for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. It was his only political donation listed on the FEC website in the past decade.”

Screenshots allegedly show a Bluesky account belonging to Allen where he called President Trump the Antichrist, encouraged his fellow leftists to buy guns due to the DOJ trying to stop transgenders from purchasing firearms, and claimed POTUS is in cahoots with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“He also attacks JD Vance for advocating an end to America’s funding the war in Ukraine and for his criticisms of the Pope. He seems pretty fixated on Ukraine more generally,” Charlie Kirk Show executive producer Andrew Kolvet wrote on 𝕏.

President Trump addressed the shooter’s motives, saying, “The guy is a sick guy. When you read his manifesto, he hates Christians. That’s one thing for sure. He hates Christians, a hatred. And I think his sister or his brother actually was complaining about it. You know, they were even complaining to law enforcement. So he was, he was a very troubled guy.”

POTUS continued to promote peace among U.S. citizens with political disagreements, saying, “I ask that all Americans recommit with their hearts in resolving our difference peacefully. We have to we have to resolve our differences. I will say, you had Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives, Liberals, and Progressives. Those words are interchangeable perhaps, but maybe they’re not. But yet everybody in that room, big crowd, record-setting crowd, there was a record-setting group of people. And there was a tremendous amount of love and coming together. I watched, I watched and I was very, very impressed by that.”
