Former Trump administration Department of Homeland Security Deputy Chief of Staff Miles Taylor made an appearance on MSNBC this weekend to claim he might be the next person to be raided by the FBI after ex-National Security Advisor John Bolton was raided at his Bethesda, Maryland, home on Friday.
Taylor, described by an MSNBC anchor as a person “in the president’s crosshairs,” said, “we expect” to be raided by the federal government.
Painting the raids as a “revenge campaign,” the ex-DHS official said his fellow Deep State anti-Trump peers can almost guess who will be the next person targeted.
“It’s coming,” he said. “We have thought for years that Donald Trump, if he came back to power, would do something like this.”
“It’s not about us,” Taylor continued, saying, “It’s about the criminal justice system that all Americans expect to be able to treat them fairly. It’s about the president of the United States weaponizing the tools of his office to reshape our society.”
Of course, the Deep State failed to acknowledge the judicial system and intelligence community were first weaponized by Democrat leaders against Trump and the MAGA movement.
He claimed Trump is “making sure the scales of justice tip in his favor” and “the scales of commerce tip in his favor.”
“This is really scary stuff, and to me the Bolton raid was one of the biggest moments in this presidency because it showed that all the years of talking about how Trump would use the FBI as his foot soldiers to go after his enemies wasn’t bluster, it wasn’t hyperbole, it is now very, very real and there’s no telling where this could go next,” Taylor said.
In a previous MSNBC appearance, Taylor suggested his family’s lives are in danger due to “MAGA crazies” potentially trying to kill them because he was on a Trump blacklist.
Meanwhile, after admitting that he was part of a subversive group trying to derail the Trump administration in 2018 and going public in 2020, posted about “getting sober” and “exiting a toxic tribe” in 2022.
