Update! NBC News is now reporting Iran told President Trump days before he decided to strike their nuclear sites that they’d “activate sleeper cell terror inside the United States” if attacked.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin regarding a heightened threat environment across the United States on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the U.S. struck Iranian nuclear sites.
“It is our duty to keep the nation safe and informed, especially during times of conflict,” Noem said. “The ongoing Israel-Iran conflict brings the possibility of increased threat to the homeland in the form of possible cyberattacks, acts of violence, and antisemitic hate crimes.”
As of now, DHS stated, “There are currently no specific credible threats against the homeland.”
Trump administration Border Czar Tom Homan also mentioned the possibility of terror attacks inside the U.S. following the strikes, telling Fox News Iranian sleeper cells illegally entered the country thanks to Joe Biden’s open border policies.
Over 1,200 Iranians were knowingly released into America during Biden’s White House tenure, with Homan noting there have been zero under President Trump.

In addition to those who were released into the country under the Biden administration, over two million “known gotaways” were able to sneak into the U.S. during that time period.
“We don’t know who they are, where they came from, because they got away because Border Patrol was so overwhelmed with the humanitarian crisis that Biden created,” Homan explained.

In fact, a gunman opened fire during a church service at Crosspointe Community Church outside Detroit, Michigan, on Sunday, shooting and injuring one person before being shot and killed by a security guard after a deacon hit the suspect with his vehicle, according to police.
Police have yet to release information about the shooter, but the target being a Christian church nearby the nations largest Arab community in Dearborn, Michigan, has many people speculating it could have been an Islamic attack.
