Podcast host Dan Bongino labeled Alex Jones a “fraud” on his show Friday, one day after President Donald Trump also leveled attacks against the Infowars host.

The former FBI deputy director, who inexplicably resigned in disgrace earlier this year, took a cue from Trump and went off on Jones, claiming he’s a different person behind the scenes.
“Folks, I’m sorry to tell you, but I’ve been in this business a long, long time. And I am sorry to tell you this because I wish I didn’t have to. A lot of the people you put faith in… in this business in general, behind the scenes are totally different people,” Bongino said, before adding, “Alex Jones is full of shit.”

“You want to listen to his show, you have…fine…go right ahead. This guy is a fraud,” he continued, referring to Jones as a “doomer” and “black-piller.”
The former Secret Service agent went on to recall being a guest on The Alex Jones Show and claimed Jones during a break said he was going to misrepresent an issue.
“I will never forget early on in my political career when I was running for office, I got invited on, I did the network Infowars a couple of times early on,” Bongino said. “Listen, I was young in the business, whatever. I went on the show figuring I might as well talk to people.”
“You get your name out there, and it’s during like a break before I come on. And I’m just telling you like the conversation was so disturbing.”
“Oh, well, I’m just going to like do it anyway, because that’s what the audience said,” Bongino said, speaking as Jones.
“I was like, ‘Wow, it’s probably not a good idea. It’s not exactly true.'”
“Well, that’s what…I couldn’t believe it. The guy’s a total fake and a phony. It’s not real. It’s all bullshit.”
The host continued dissing Jones for several minutes, saying, “Nothing pisses Trump off more than fake,” and claimed Jones invoked the 25th Amendment to remove Trump – after he threatened to wipe out civilization in Iran – as “outrage porn” for clicks and money.
Bongino’s attack followed an astonishing Truth Social post from President Trump the previous day, in which he called Jones and former supporters Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens “low IQ” and “NUT JOBS.”
As pointed out by Jones son’ Rex, Bongino’s attack came despite him being a former friend of the show and frequent Infowars guest and host.
Bongino is trashing the man and network that he was doing regular appearances on for a decade straight.
