Residents of Washington DC are making it known they’re happy with President Donald Trump taking the initiative to clean up their city.
“I believe that this is the best thing that has happened to this city in a very, very long time for the president to take control, you know, of the police, of the crime, I think it’s a great idea. I really, really do,” one lifelong D.C. resident recently told LindellTV’s Cara Castronuova.
An elderly resident also praised the takeover in an interview with Fox News, saying, “We need all the protection that we can get in the city.”
“The city is really getting dangerous. A person like me, at this age, I have to make sure to come home before sundown,” she said.
One young D.C. resident explained the crackdown most benefits older residents, saying: “Do you not understand this is what the residents want? I’m not talking about the bougie upper echelon bougie blacks. I’m talking about the everyday grandmas that have to deal with these homeless people peeing and pooping on their steps and then they have to clean it up. They don’t feel safe when they walk into their neighborhoods, the gangs and the dope boys are just standing around the corner. Do you not understand that this is what they want?”
Residents opposed to law enforcement’s actions are quickly learning the national guard isn’t playing around:
In one viral video, a cop on foot patrol tells residents of an apartment complex not to be smoking marijuana outside because “Donald Trump’s tired of it.”
Another resident advised thugs to lay off their criminal activity if they didn’t want to be arrested, blaming D.C.’s problems on unruly youths.
In another video, a man filming showed D.C. is peaceful and orderly now.
Even the MSM is confused over how to spin the narrative of “crime-ridden streets are better than clean streets,” with the Washington Post recently quoting a resident claiming the city is “safe,” while in the same breath admitting crime is high, and wanting to stay anonymous for their own personal safety.
Meanwhile, a psychotic D.C. resident encouraged murderers and criminals to “terrorize” Trump’s crackdown forces like they’ve been terrorizing the city.
Overall, Trump’s mobilization of law enforcement to fight crime in the nation’s capital appears to be having the intended effect, with residents on notice that lawlessness will no longer be tolerated.
