The Blaze host Glenn Beck made people roll their eyes this week after posting an interview with an AI-generated version of America’s first president George Washington supporting the United States’ war with Iran.
In a bizarre clip promoting his “George AI” LLM platform, supposedly sourced from Founding Fathers’ letters and speeches, Beck asked a modern version of Washington whether America should be entangled in foreign wars.

Washington – who famously advised against foreign wars – answered that the best deterrence would be American military preparedness, a pseudo-endorsement of military escalation.
The stunt resurrecting the corpse of the long-dead Founding Father to in effect cheerlead for interventionism did not sit well with many online, who roasted Beck mercilessly.

“We’ve brought back George Washington through the power of AI and you’re not gonna believe this but he says I’m right about everything,” commented another X user.
“This is the funniest context in which a person could utter the phrase ‘I won’t pretend to speak for them,'” wrote The Bulwark correspondent Andrew Egger.
