Bitter defeated Democrat stalwart Hillary Clinton spoke out of both sides of her mouth this week, on one hand praising President Donald Trump for brokering peace in the Middle East, while at the same time blasting him as “unhinged.”
In an appearance on CBS News, the failed presidential candidate begrudgingly congratulated Trump on forging a peace deal between Israel and Hamas.
“It’s a really significant first step,” Clinton said. “And I really commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders in the region, for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what’s often called the day after.”
Meanwhile, during a surprise appearance in Kamala Harris’ book tour on Thursday, Clinton bashed President Trump, claiming together she and Kamala had defeated him in debates four times.
“I want to know this, I debated Trump three times, you debated him once – he wouldn’t debate you again,” Clinton said in a message to Kamala. “We beat him four times, do you think we’re the reason he is so unhinged today?”
Trump’s victory in bringing the Israel-Palestine war to an end is too glaring to ignore and Democrats recognize it would be a political liability to try to paint the situation as anything but a success – but in spite of that, they can’t help themselves since hating Trump has basically become the core of what the party stands for.
