President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran on Saturday morning, writing on Truth Social that the nation has only 48 hours to make a deal or open up the Hormuz Strait or else “Hell will reign down on them.”
“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT?” he asked. “Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
POTUS also told the Iranian regime this week that he’d bomb them “back into the Stone Ages” and the U.S. “can easily OPEN THE HORMUZ STRAIT, TAKE THE OIL, & MAKE A FORTUNE” as the channel would become “a gusher for the world.”
The threats come just after the president announced this week that he wants the US defense budget to increase up to $1.5 trillion, which would equate to the largest military financial expansion since the WWII.
On Friday, Iran rejected American ceasefire proposals and shot down a US A-10 Warthog and a U.S. F-15E.
Responding to Friday’s escalations, the U.S. and Israel struck a pair of major sites in Iran Saturday morning.
Iranian state media reported “casualties and significant damage” at the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Zone in Iran’s Khuzestan province and a strike hitting Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant.
Last month, conservative podcaster Nick Fuentes suggested Trump may “want” to drop a nuke to solidify his place in history as one of the only people to ever deploy the weaponry, and United Nations human rights diplomat Mohamad Safa resigned from his position, claiming the UN is preparing for the U.S. or Israel to use a nuclear weapon against Iran.
Could the threat that “Hell will reign down on” Iran signal POTUS is considering a nuclear attack, or will he simply increase the current barrage of missile strikes on the Middle East nation?
