Lunatic leftist and former DC Metro police officer Michael Fanone, who gained publicity in the aftermath of the infamous January 6th debacle, joined the Lincoln Project podcast “Lincoln Square” on Thursday where he made inflammatory remarks encouraging Americans to take up arms against federal agents.
Discussing the recent shooting of 37-year-old anti-ICE demonstrator Renee Good by a federal agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday, Fanone said, “This ain’t the first time we’ve seen ICE and CBP abuse their power. It’s probably the millionth fucking time that we’ve seen this happen, and it’s not even the first time that someone has been seriously injured or lost their lives.”
“So, these politicians and these local, state and municipal law enforcement agencies need to wake the fuck up,” he said. “I appreciate the foul language coming out of the mouth of the mayor of Minneapolis and I think his sentiment in the moment was appropriate.”
Fanone was referring to Democrat Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey telling ICE to “get the fuck out of” his city earlier this week.
Essentially calling for a civil war between blue states and the federal government, the ex-DC cop asked, “What are you directing your law enforcement agencies to do to protect your citizens? I don’t need to hear from the chief of police that we all need to remain calm and protest peacefully? Fuck you and fuck that. What are you doing to keep me safe? What are you doing to keep my mom safe, my sister safe, my community safe from these thugs?”
“If you’re not gonna do it, then it’s time for the American people to organize and to utilize their Second Amendment right to protect themselves from what has clearly become an unaccountable and lawless agency that’s killing Americans,” Fanone added.
Promoting an armed rebellion isn’t the first time the Democrats’ J6 darling has dipped his toes into insurrectionism, as he drunkenly told The Washington Post he expected to die in a shootout with federal agents during an interview from his Blue Ridge Mountain home on Election Day 2024.
Considering the prospect of being apprehended upon Trump’s election, Fanone said, “I’ll die right here on my fucking house. I’m not going to be in some ‘Apprentice’ fucking military tribunal,” adding, “I fully expect that to happen.”
