Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) is under fire from former staffers who recently spoke with the New York Post, telling the outlet that the controversial politician is hardly in her office and is mean to her aides.
“She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them,” a former aide said. “She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bulls— that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things.”
A second source told the Post, “It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents,” and a third said, “She is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress,” describing Crockett as “all diva, no wow.”
The Crockett insiders also said the Democrat has staffers act as Uber drivers by having them drop her off at Capitol Hill meetings and hearings in fancy rented vehicles as she sits in the back and they chauffer her around.
A former aide told the NYP that “gay staff members” complained about Crockett calling Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) “butch,” and the Democrat politician told them, “That’s not offensive. You’re stupid if you think so.”
Crockett allegedly created a “toxic staff environment” that left ex-aides fearful of retribution if they were to have spoken out in the outlet’s article.
A former Democratic congressional aide said, “You would think working for a black woman, if you were a young black woman or a young person of color, you would feel empowered in that space. But truly, the only person that she thinks about and cares about is herself. The staff is really just an island unto itself, because she doesn’t care about the local issues happening in her district. She’s more focused on, ‘Get me on “The View,” ‘Get me on this late-night talk show.’”
Another person who worked with Crockett claimed she once cut off two handicapped people to board an airplane, saying, “Her cutting in line in front of a handicapped person is really indicative of the type of person she is. She is interpersonally very rude and doesn’t get along well with people.”
The accusations are likely not surprising to Americans who have been watching the Democrat engage in constant race-baiting and attention-grabbing antics day after day during her time in office.
