Democrat presidential loser Kamala Harris is set to make her first post-election interview on CBS’ soon-to-be-cancelled Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The interview will happen Thursday at 10:30PM CT.

Harris’ appearance coincides with the release of her new book, 107 Days, named after the number of days her disastrous campaign lasted.

“What the world saw on the campaign trail was only part of the story. My new book is a behind-the-scenes look at my experience leading the shortest presidential campaign in modern history,” Harris wrote in a book ad posted to X Thursday morning. “107 Days is out on Sept. 23. I can’t wait for you to read it.”

“I believe there’s value in sharing what I saw, what I learned and what I know it will take to move forward,” she said in an accompanying video ad.

“In writing this book, one truth kept coming back to me: Sometimes the fight takes a while, but I remain full of hope, and I remain clear-eyed,” she said. “I will never stop fighting to make our country reflect the very best of its ideals, always on behalf of the people.”

Harris’ interview comes as she announced Wednesday she would not attempt to run for governor of California, as Gov. Gavin Newsom terms out in 2026, leaving the door open for a potential 2028 presidential run (for either party).

“I love this state, its people, and its promise,” she wrote in a statement. “It is my home. But after deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election.

The defeated Democrat, however, left the door open for a second possible presidential bid.

For now, my leadership-and public service-will not be in elected office,” Harris wrote. “I look forward to getting back out and listening to the American people, helping elect Democrats across the nation who will fight fearlessly, and sharing more details in the months ahead about my own plans.”

Harris’ interview with Colbert also comes as deranged leftists have accused CBS of canning the Late Show to appease the Trump administration, whose FTC is currently in the process of authorizing a merger between parent company Paramount and Skydance Media. CBS, however, argues the show had dwindling viewership and lost $40-$50 million in 2024.

President Donald Trump, meanwhile, has questioned whether numerous celebrity endorsements seemingly paid for by Harris’ campaign could have violated campaign finance laws, over the weekend calling for prosecutions of singer Beyoncé, billionaire talk show guru Oprah Winfrey, and liberal commentator Al Sharpton.
