A new mobile app launched as a lifeline for embattled Infowars host Alex Jones reached top ten status in Apple’s free news apps in less than 24 hours.
After a federal bankruptcy judge gave Democrats the green light to seize Infowars, the “AJN Live” app launched Wednesday by app designer Chase Geiser climbed to number 6 in the Apple Store’s top 10 free news apps.
The “AJN Live” app‘s #6 spot put it above other corporate news behemoths’ apps, like Bloomberg, NPR, the Associated Press, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, the BBC, Google News, The Atlantic, Reuters and others.
The app’s meteoric success is reminiscent of when Infowars’ news app climbed to the number 1 spot on the app store in 2018, overtaking CNN, the New York Times, Google News, HuffPost, and others, before Apple terminated the podcast app citing alleged “hate speech” violations.
The “AJN Live” app is currently only available for Apple iOS devices, but should be available for Android in the near future.
